We are writers who got tired of querying into the void and paying for bloated self-publishing packages. Tired of agents too self-important to reply—then talking like they’re God’s gift to authors. Tired of self-publishing platforms that cost thousands and offer little support. Tired of traditional publishers who care more about platform size than the story. Tired of poor writing and unoriginal stories. So we built a hybrid imprint: traditional in what we accept, self-publishing in how the book gets made.

Not every query becomes an SRP title—but we promise to read your work with care and reply personally (and no, not half a year later). If we say yes, setup is a one-time $500 for admin and the ISBN. Every project is different; we work alongside you to find and hire editors, designers, and formatters directly—we don’t take a cut. We have partners we work with regularly; you’re welcome to use them or bring your own people. We walk with you every step of the way.

Most traditional publishers and self-publishing platforms split royalties something like this: about 50% to the retailer, 40% to the publisher or imprint, and 10% to the author. We think that’s criminal. It’s your story. You did the hard work. Why should you get the smallest cut? At SRP the retailer gets 50% of royalties, we take 10%, and you keep 40%. Then we place the book for global distribution and help you think through launch.
